With just two months until the Nov. 3, 2020, general election, we have to get every unregistered voter registered – our success depends on it.

We cover a lot of voter registration information – and voter ID and early voting info – on our Voter Registration page. However, there’s a lot going on, locally and statewide, to shore up voter registration. Here goes!

  • The week of Aug. 31 is the TDP Voter Registration Week of Action. The Texas Democratic Party is making an all-out effort to contact unregistered ONE MILLION unregistered voters in this unprecedented phone bank. Here is the link to sign up: http://txdem.co/VoterRegWeek. There are several shifts & lots of voters to contact!
  • Do the WOW Dems Walk the Walk Challenge, where individuals compete to see who dropped off the most voter registration forms! Learn more here.
  • Educate voters about “Don’t Stop at the Top” with the Dallas Co. Democratic Party and Vote for Every Democrat through the Make Calls to Voters with PhoneBurner event. Learn more & register here.
  • The TDP Apartment Project: The Texas Democratic Party wants volunteers to drop off TDP Letter and Mail-in Voter Registration forms at ALL apartment doors. If you’re in Collin Co. and this interests you, email vdrlead@collindemocrats.org with your address and the vicinity in which you’re willing to drop voter registration forms. Want to find out if YOUR county’s Democratic Party could use your help in voter registration events and efforts? Contact them! (If your county’s Dem party isn’t listed below, simply do a Google search of your county and “democratic party”.)
  • Collin Co: The Collin Co. Democratic Party is looking to plan registration events in keeping with social distancing. At a minimum, the CCDP would like to plan an event on Oct. 5 (the last day to register to vote), outside the Democratic Party office, like curbside registering in the parking lot up until midnight. Contact the CCDP if you are willing to help organize this event or others in the county. If you have other ideas for voter registration events or if you know a good location in your city where CCDP can set up a table outside and register voters, contact the CCDP and let them know you’d like to speak with Sharon Stark.

Lots of people contact us to ask where they can get voter registration forms. The answer: at your county’s election office! Here are some helpful links that’ll help you find contact info for your county elections office, wherever you live!
