Wouldn’t you LOVE to have a Democrat as Texas Attorney General and not CONservative Ken? Get ready for Valentine’s Day by dreaming about a better Attorney General for Texas.

Joe Jaworski has made local and state news for his strong campaign, and we are giving you the opportunity to ask him questions about his run for Texas AG.

Joe Jaworski is a third-generation Texas trial attorney and former mayor of Galveston, Texas.

His family legacy is one of integrity and ethics. Joe’s grandfather Watergate Special Prosecutor Leon Jaworski had the guts to take on President Nixon and Nixon’s corrupt Administration by fighting for justice in our nation’s highest court. Leon Jaworski’s legacy after Watergate – a family value which Joe honors daily – is “no one is above the law.”

This is why Joe is running for Texas Attorney General. In Texas, too many of our public officials think they are above the law. We need someone who can restore integrity to public service in Texas.

Early voting in Texas begins Tuesday, Oct. 13, and runs through Friday, Oct. 30.

You can vote early in one of two ways: by showing up in person during the prescribed early voting period or by voting by mail.

Early voting is the way to go in 2020. Generally, there are fewer people showing up to vote early, which is an important factor to consider during the Covid-19 pandemic. Also, unlike on election day itself (Nov. 3), registered and eligible voters may vote at ANY early voting location located in their county of residence.

Live outside of Texas? Vote.org is a great source to check voter registration and learn about voting in your state & county.

Your county election site will have info on where you can vote early, what times early voting is available, and sample ballots. While election day (Nov. 3) voting times run 7 a.m.-7 p.m., early voting times may differ, so check with your county elections office to check on early voting times.

Need help remembering to vote? The League of Women Voters can set you up with election reminders!

The newsletter we wrote two months before election day has lots of good info on voting and making your plan to vote. Check it out!

Polling shows Texas is officially a “toss-up” state — meaning the race for president is basically tied.

This news is a great reminder that flipping Texas blue and stopping Trump isn’t impossible, but also that we still have work to do. That’s why The Texas Democratic Party (TDP) & many Texas Dems do what they does: call voters to turn them out to vote in November, day in and day out.

With fewer than 50 days till the election, you’re needed to make calls! Help flip Texas Blue! Victory is on the ballot, but it can’t be done without you. The TDP is asking for 100 dials each for this event. Join them for a brief training and then stay to phone bank. You can help end Trump and other republicans who are killing us. Join this important phone bank and make a difference.
